Tammi Weaver

Milton High School

How do we put into words the love and appreciation we have for our School Related Employee of the Year? We could wax eloquently about her many roles and flexible approach to each.  We could discuss her steadfast attention to detail and how she has helped so many students succeed.  We could even illuminate examples of the stability she brings to our ESE Department, with her wealth of experience and level-headed approach to problems.
But perhaps we would be better served to allow her friends and colleagues to share why our candidate is so special…
Raymond Busby says, “Tammi is a dynamic educator.  She is always here early and stay is late until each child is safe and on the bus.  We have an excellent team in our CBSA room, but Tammi is the glue that holds it all together and gives us the spark to keep going when things get tough.”
Sodexho Café Manager, Amanda Jones says, “She always has a kind word to share and brightens our day with her positive attitude.”
Clair Colon, her colleague across the hall is in awe of her compassion, saying “It’s heart-warming to see how much she cares about her students and how much they adore her.”
While SLP Terrial Thompson appreciates her creativity, “Mrs. Weaver is very crafty and LOVES to print and laminate things. She is always ready to start a new project, whether it's creating garland out of beads for the Christmas tree or piecing a life size model of the human body together. She has such a big heart and makes everyone feel welcome. You can really tell that she enjoys working with kids, and I'm glad that I get to work with her.”
Department Chair, Keri Odom simply says, “One of the hardest working women alive!”
We think veteran teacher & friend, Brad Grice says it best, “This recognition is very much deserved. No one is more dedicated to our kids than Tammi Weaver.”
We couldn’t have said it better. Milton High School is prod to nominate our friend and colleague for School Related Employee of the Year...
