Our nominee is extremely
dedicated, kind, and helpful. We are lucky and proud to have her on our staff.
She happily serves our community bringing a ray of sunshine to everyone she
meets. She serves our students as an ESE Paraprofessional pushing into classes.
Through her role, she provides the love, and the one-on-one attention that they
need. Our students love and respect
her for her positive vibes, and the ability
to encourage them and help them with their daily lessons. The positive
reinforcement, and
reward incentives
help push
our students
and ensure
success.
She also serves on the Leadership
Reading Team, and is a member of the First Priority Christian Club. In addition,
she has a supporting role in the Music Department’s Madrigal performance this
year. Our nominee spends a lot of her spare time in continuing education
studying the latest strategies to ensure the success of our students. Currently,
she is diligently working towards her certification in mathematics (grades 5-9),
has passed the ESE K-12 exam, and is finishing up the final coursework for her
MA in Organizational Leadership. Our nominee recently retired after 27 years of
service in the Air Force. First thing in the morning, you will find her at the
front door with a smile, greeting our students. She also assists in other areas
where needed without prompt. With her colleagues, she is the first one to offer
a helping hand, whether it be a hug or a cup of coffee. Her colleagues
appreciate her for going beyond her job
duties by
offering to
grade papers,
and stay
after hours
to help
people until the job is done. Her dedication to our students is something
to be admired and honored. We are proud to recommend her for Santa Rosa County
School Related Employee of the Year!
