Holley Navarre Intermediate School

With great pride and honor, the faculty and staff of Holley-Navarre Intermediate School would like to nominate one very special Seahawk for Santa Rosa County’s School Related Employee of the Year.

Our “home grown” candidate is a testament to her Santa Rosa County roots. A lead-learner, she exemplifies our school commitment to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to meet the requirements of tomorrow’s world because she has progressed in and among us from eager student to tireless volunteer to cherished employee who has become an integral part of making our school function on a daily basis.

No job too small, she approaches each task with a commitment and dedication beyond her years. One of her colleagues expounds on the many facets of our unique "gem", touting her a “thinker, encourager, and supporter…all of which is done with enthusiasm.” Another added, “She joined our faculty and fit right in, always willing to help and serve as a role/model and mentor to the students.” In a school of almost 950 students, she takes to heart our faculty focus of, “What is the best interest of the student,” and works cooperatively to create a positive work and learning environment, rising to unexpected challenges with a calm confidence. As one coworker noted, “She problem solves quickly and efficiently and always with a friendly smile.” She is truly worth her weight in gold and adds her “Midas touch” to nearly every aspect of our daily grind, from greeting visitors with a smile, to the copy room, to the cafeteria, and into the classrooms.
