Glenda Kennington
Lead Caregiver
Community School

Glenda's workday begins before school begins and extends after the school day ends, but she is always willing to go beyond her basic duties.  She is always eager to help out in the office answering phone calls, taking payments, writing receipts, making copies or assisting her supervisor.
The majority of the time she doesn't have to be asked, she just takes the initiative and handles whatever needs to be done.  She is always looking for creative projects to challenge her students with.  She keeps her work environment safe and healthy for the children and her staff as well as keeping any required information presented in an attractive manner.  It is obvious that she is respected by her co-workers, parents and students by the relationship she has with them.
She is up to date on all of her inservice training and required classes and still continues to look for ways to improve her program. It is with great pleasure and deserving honor that she be nominated as School Related Employee of the Year for 2007.
