Letter of Nomination
Our nominee for Santa Rosa County’s School Related Employee of the Year is definitely the most qualified person that has been nominated.  Although she has only been with the school system for four years and in her current position for 16 months,  her energy and enthusiasm for getting tasks accomplished is far superior to most.

There is absolutely nothing that is not achievable for this employee.  Her dedication for success is as strong as her positive “can-do” spirit.  Her loyalty far exceeds Webster’s definition because of her willingness to go beyond the call of duty.  She is always on time and willing to adjust her schedule to accommodate anyone’s needs.  She is a very trustworthy individual who leaves no stone unturned.  Her gift for creativity adds the spark for any occasion.

Her exemplary knowledge base affords her the opportunity to assist with technical issues, assist with training, as well as representing our district at state-wide meetings.  She is an excellent example for the criteria in hiring future employees.  She would make Santa Rosa County proud!

Administrator's Letter of Recommendation
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for our School Related Employee of the Year.  This individual is very deserving of this honor.  She continuously extends herself far beyond the required duties of her job. She eagerly seeks opportunities to provide that “extra touch” for school as well as district personnel.  Her creativity is obvious as she decorates for special luncheons and holidays.  Whatever the need she is always willing to adjust any previous schedules to make sure all the bases are covered.  She willingly fills in for anyone who is on leave with a confident and efficient manner. She is a very punctual and conscientious employee.  At the same time, she is a well-respected employee among her peers.  It is not a rare thing to hear her laughter in the building.  She is a happy person and that happiness certainly wears off on the lives of those around her.  She has become the “birthday card queen” in our department.  She creates the perfect card on her computer for our employees on their birthdays and special events.

In addition to her dedication and pleasant personality, she is extremely efficient in her job duties.  It has become obvious that there is nothing that this employee cannot accomplish.  If she does not already have the needed knowledge, she diligently seeks ways to acquire it.  She has completed all of the PDC technology courses, as well as additional courses at Locklin Technical Center.  She has taken a lead role in working with the library/media specialists in the district.  She publishes a quarterly newsletter for the library/media specialists.  She also generates our department newsletter, as well as additional documents as needed.  She organizes and reproduces materials for large groups of people, to include administrators.  She is very meticulous in her work.  I can always depend on her to get the job done timely and efficiently.  She keeps data bases of information for district-wide use.  She communicates with teachers and library/media specialists regularly through email and phone.  She is always sensitive to their needs and sincerely attempts to meet the need of each individual.

She represented our district at a statewide media meeting in Tallahassee.  Upon her return, she organized and presented the information that was obtained to me, as well as at the library/media meeting.  She is one of only several in our district that has learned to use the software Omniform.  This allows her to create forms to be housed on the district server for all to use.   In addition, she travels with other department employees to assist with training and other school initiatives.

In conclusion, there is no task too large for this employee.  She has a good attitude and efficiency about her job that makes her a truly “special” person.  This employee would certainly be an outstanding representative for our district’s School Related Employee of the Year.
