Santa Rosa Adult School's graduation ceremony
for the Class of 2020 will be held on
Monday, June 22, 2020, at 7:00 p.m.
in the Milton High School Stadium, weather permitting.

The DEADLINE to order a cap and gown is Thursday, June 11, 2020. Herff Jones has guaranteed cap and gown delivery before the June 22 graduation ceremony if ordered by the deadline on June 11. We will contact students regarding the distribution of cap and gown packages through a callout as soon as they are delivered to the school.

Students must have met the following requirements in order to participate in the graduation ceremony:
1. Must have placed a cap and gown order by June 11, 2020. (No late orders will be accepted and NO REFUNDS for any reason!)
2. Students participating in the adult high school program must have earned 17 of the 18 REQUIRED credits for the 18-credit ACCEL diploma by June 11, 2020. No extensions will be granted.
3. Students must have passed, taken, or received a state waiver for the required FLDOE state assessments.

The traditional ceremony will be held at the Milton High School Stadium, so at this time we are not limiting the number of guests per graduate. That could be subject to change if there is a substantial increase in the number of graduates who decide to participate in the ceremony.

Security and Safety:

The Santa Rosa County School District desires to make all graduation experiences as safe and enjoyable as possible. Please be advised of the following guidelines that everyone must adhere to, including staff, students, graduates, parents, and guests. In order to improve security and safety at this event for everyone, the following rules are being implemented.
All bags are prohibited
No outside food or drinks
No skateboards
No pets/animals
No vape/tobacco products
No sports balls
No weapons
No re-entry

Health Concerns:

We are relying heavily on self-reporting and honesty. If you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, please stay at  home.
1. Do you have any signs or symptoms of cough, sore throat, fever, diarrhea, fatigue, or muscle aches?
2. Have you recently lost your sense of smell or taste?
3. Have you had contact with someone who is sick?
The next set of questions, if you answer "yes" to any of the following questions, please self-monitor.
4. Have you been outside the area in the last 2 weeks?
5. Have you had visitors to your home outside the area the last 2 weeks?
We understand that many of you will answer "yes" to question 5, so it is important that you query your out-of-town relatives with the first 3 questions. While some may not take COVID-19 seriously, others that you may inadvertently infect may have immune-compromised relatives at home. Please be honest and follow the above guidelines.

Graduation Night:

When you arrive at the Milton High School Stadium, please follow the directions of staff and maintain social distancing standards.

When the ceremony is over, it is imperative that everyone clear the stadium so cleaning can begin. Do NOT loiter in the parking lot.
Graduates, this is a wonderful opportunity to share your accomplishments with your friends and family. Please plan accordingly to adhere to all rules being implemented. You may contact the school Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at 850.983.5710 if you have any questions or concerns.

We look forward to a wonderful evening celebrating all graduates on Monday, June 22, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the Milton High School Stadium.
Congratulations, graduates! Navy blue graduation cap
