Michael has been employed with the Santa Rosa County School System since 1991. He  began his teaching career at Holley-Navarre Middle School, where he spent seven years teaching math, science, and technology. In 1998, Michael transferred to his Alma mater of Milton High School where over the next eight years he taught math, web design, television production, 3-D animation, served as Dean and coached several sports.  Michael became an Assistant Principal at Milton High in 2006 and became Principal of Milton High in 2009. In 2015, Michael moved to Director of Professional Development and Instructional Technology for the Santa Rosa County School District.  In preparation of his assignment as Director in the Santa Rosa County School system Michael has received various honors:

As the Director of the Office of Professional Learning, Michael’s mission is to develop  nationally recognized programs  in the areas of educator professional development and instruction technology, while at the same time keeping students first.
