The Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Military Comptrollers is pleased to announce that we are in the process of awarding our annual academic scholarship. Seniors at Crestview, Niceville, Choctawhatchee, Navarre, and Fort Walton Beach High Schools who will be seeking undergraduate degrees in academic disciplines relating to financial/resource management such as business administration, economics, public administration, accounting, or finance are eligible to apply. Additionally, undergraduate students at Northwest Florida State College and the University of West Florida majoring in the aforementioned academic disciplines are also eligible for this scholarship. Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholars Award The 2016 Legislature created a new Bright Futures Scholarship program – Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholars award (GSC). Beginning with 2017 seniors, students who earn a minimum of 5 postsecondary credit hours through CAPE industry certifications that articulate for college credit and complete 30 volunteer service hours qualify for a Bright Futures GSC award.

Santa Rosa Farm Bureau The Santa Rosa Farm Bureau is awarding $1000 scholarships to seniors either attending a 2 year or 4 year college. Applicants must be a child of a person who has been a member of Santa Rosa Farm Bureau for the last two years. Also those who are pursuing a degree or occupational certificate in agriculture science, agriculture education or agricultural related industries will be given preference over non-agricultural related applications.
